Founded shortly after the Civil War, Alpha Tau Omega was founded by Otis Allan Glazebrook, a soldier who fought in the war, on principles of unity and leadership. The organization was the first to implement a spiritual growth program, and encourages members to pursue both academic and spiritual knowledge and enlightenment. With over 141 chapters and 230,000 members, ATO also created the LeaderShape Institute, a premier program for training our future leaders.
