Originally founded at a time when minorities were under-represented, especially Asian-Americans, Delta Phi Lambda was organized to advocate for Asian awareness and women empowerment. Working with American Bone Health, spreading awareness for osteoporosis, and creating Everlasting Sisterhood through experience and family, many Asian women hoping for a better academic experience has found a home in Delta Phi Lambda.
