Phi Iota Alpha is the oldest Latino Fraternity in existence. Membership, however, is open to men of all ethnicities, races, creeds, and national origins. Four former presidents of Latin American countries are part of the Phi Iota Alpha brotherhood and chapters of this organization can be found in more than 21 countries. Two of the missions of Phi Iota Alpha are to increase Latin American consciousness and to reject war and violence as a method of unifying organizations.
