Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc., also known as ΣIA, strives to expand their members’ and their communities’ awareness of the Latino culture. In the past 30 plus years, this organization has grown to more than 70 chapters nationwide. It also has the proud distinction of being the first Latina sorority in Arkansas and Massachusetts.


The R.O.S.E. Mentorship Program was created by the Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc. and serves as a resource for young latinas to develop their contributions to their community as well as their own personal development. The sisters of ΣIA mentor students aged 14-18 throughout the academic year to help them become great leaders, activists, and academics.
